To be responsible as a lead architect for a Desktop Service solution. This will cover producing a Desktop strategy and design for a secure platform hosted across several time zones. The production of a high level design and ability to work with third party suppliers. The ability to consider the costs involved with resourcing and procurement of the services. To work closely within ITIL V3 service management framework. To work in a pre-sales environment with knowledge of procurement process.

Architectural skills:

Design of Desktop Services

Production of a TOM for a desktop service

Strategy for a desktop service across a number of technical solutions, Thick, Thin and VDI

Creation of road maps for the technology components

Application visualization and rationalization

Produce designs and good written skills

Produce cost models

Technical skills:

VMware and or Citrix VDI deployments

Windows 7/8.1

Windows Server 2008/2012

SCCM 2012

MS Exchange 2010 and above

Lumension

Core network familiarity for desktop considerations for LAN and WAN

Desktop build and deployment

Secure lockdown of platforms

Bycrypt

Mobile deployment
