Lead Architect

SOLUTION ARCHITECT

An Investment Bank in the city are looking for an Solution Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will be leading the design of solutions for large projects and programmes.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Financial Market Space
Good financial platform experience
Liquidity
Implementation of different vendor products (nothing from scratch)
Settlement knowledge systems
Work on projects and teams, partner on project
Assist teams on formulating designs, architectural governance
Reporting to lead architect + IT PM or specific project
Need to be able to understand trading concepts + products types
FX, Fixed Income products, Gilts, Bonds, Complex Derivatives

SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Simplify the existing architecture, delivering reusable services and cost savings opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the group.
- Lead collaborative working with other areas within Enterprise Architecture and Design to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes and meet the business needs with the agreed quality of service.

Identify and communicate appropriate resource requirements and work breakdown structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the end to end solution design, and ensure project plans and finances align with this working with the Project/Programme Manager and Divisional Practice Manager.
