WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A APPLICATION ARCHITECT TO WORK IN BELGIUM, BRUSSELS. THE CONTRACT IS FOR 3 MONTHS.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Application Server Segregation Architect is the interlocutor of (seven) Customers' Application Server Segregation Project Owners and IS4F project Manager(s). He/she is in charge of the support to the customers in order to identify, prioritize, estimate impact with related projects and plan the segregation of applications. He/she is supporting the project manager in executing the project according to the Contract commitments. As so, he/she is helping responsible of the project management to take into account Calendar, planning, prices and Services constraints.
His/her missions and objectives are the following:
- Support the project according to the project management method defined in the Project
Management Plan (PMP)
- Organize and participate to the committees, workshops and technical meetings
- Ensure IBM's commitments achievement
- Plan the application segregation activities (with the customer)
- Reports and work with the lead architect of the segregation track
- Report progress status
- Ensure reporting during the committees
- Escalate issues, project Services execution difficulties and potential delay
- Address incidents and implement appropriate action plans
- Address and mitigate risks
- Support and manage resources Services
- Plan and organize the Service delivery Acceptance
- Communicate to the operational team working on the project
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Extensive experience in application development, design and implementation
- Experience in Project and Risks Management
- Good experience on Application Segregation
o Mandatory: Segregation of applications hosted on Servers
o If possible: Segregation of applications hosted on clients (or Citrix farm) - Good knowledge of Banking Sector in Belgium and Luxembourg
- If possible, knowledge of the project context ( IS4F and IS4F customers)
- Able to identify and plan the applications to segregate
- Good communicator because customer facing
