My client is leading global development organisation working with some of the world's most innovative companies. They help companies develop new products and services within the software sector. They now have a requirement for a number of Lead Android Developers to develop cutting edge applications across major platforms. These roles are based in the centre of Silicon Valley in California.

To be shortlisted for this amazing contract opportunity you must possess the following:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
5+ years professional experience in software development
3+ years experience android application development
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design and functional programming
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Proficiency in the Java programming language.

Experience

Experience of developing applications for multiple types of android devices
Proficiency in common android UI practice and strong ability to create customized UI components
Experience of application porting from other mobile platform
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & common practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience influencing software engineers best practices within your team
Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from Front End user interfaces through to Back End systems and all points in between

You must be available to commence this contract in September 2013

You must be a US citizen or have a relevant visa to allow you to work in the US.
