Lead .Net Senior Developer - London - 300-340pd

A leading Media organisation in London is recruiting for a contract Lead Senior .Net Developer for an initial 3 months contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading Media company. For this role you will be very hands on and you should have experience of leading a team previously.

As the Senior .Net Developer/Team Lead you should have a strong experience of the following:
-Building multi-tier web systems using c# .Net
-Commercial experience using ASP.Net MVC
-Strong Object-oriented Design patterns and solid programming skills
-Good Test Driven Development (TDD) experience and use of browser automation tools
-SQL development skills, using either Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server
-Experience working in an Agile environment following Scrum or Kanban methodologies
-Knowledge of Continuous Delivery practices and experience with CI Servers
-Excellent HTML/CSS + JavaScript/JQuery with AJAX experience
-Strong experience with WCF, ASP.NET Web API and REST web services (SOAP, JSON, XML)
-Excellent Version Control skills ideally including distributed systems such as Git or Mercurial

It is highly desirable that you have experience of working with:

-CMS or Search implementations
-Knowledge of LINQ, Lambda Expressions and other recent C# .Net developments
-Knowledge of backbone, knockout, node and other JavaScript frameworks
-Knowledge of Stress Testing and Performance Testing tools.
-Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures an Enterprise CI
-Familiarity with mobile web application development frameworks

The ideal candidate will require to have strong communication skills with high standards in written and oral communication. It is essential that you have the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical team members. You will require to have an eye for good GUI design and a passion for delivering good user experience as well as experience of leading and mentoring junior team members effectively.
