My Client, a market leading financial services institution is looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer/Commercial Case Consultant to join an exciting project on an interim basis.

THE ROLEHOLDER MUST COME FROM A COMMERCIAL BANKING BACKGROUND, ALSO HAVING WORKED WITHIN OR CLOSELY WITH LEGAL.

RATE: £450 - £600

The individual will be responsible for communicating an outcome and/or potential redress for FRL (Fixed Rate Loan) complaints to customers via letter, following discussion with key stakeholders in the business. In cases where redress is payable, they will work with the RMs/FM to agree the appropriate structure and mechanism of redress delivery.

The desired candidate must have knowledge of basic legal principles and previous experience in a commercial legal or financial services role, preferably working with markets and financial products (ideally derivatives). The candidate must have strong letter drafting, presentation and analytical skills. Candidates will be expected to be decisive and have the ability to communicate in a confident and clear manner.

Main features of the role:
Communication with FM sales, the relationship team, the legal department and senior executives to conclude satisfactory outcomes and methods of redress
Drafting and reviewing reasoned responses to customers' FRL complaints
Participating in assessment panels and recording meeting minutes and outcomes/action points
Reviewing "further" complaints post resolution and all other post resolution communication.
