Job Description:
This person will be expected to provide assistance in real estate matters with an emphasis on managing and resolving legal issues affecting existing locations ranging from routine to complex in a fast-paced environment.

Areas of responsibility include, among other things:
Assessing legal risks and opportunities within the area of real estate law and advising clients accordingly; providing legal support, including sale and leasing, for portfolios of surplus real estate; reviewing and clearing title and survey; reviewing and analysing contracts, leases and other legal documents; preparing ancillary transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, memorandum of leases, restrictive covenants and non-disturbance agreements; handling property management matters; handling eminent domain matters affecting restaurant sites; coordinating construction-related property management issues related to the operation of existing restaurants; performing legal clearance reviews to facilitate the remodeling of existing restaurant locations.

A minimum of two years' technical experience in the commercial real estate area is preferred.

Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects, ability to handle deadline pressures and sensitive information, ability to work well individually and also as part of a team.
