Lawson Application Development Support

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Provide web application development support and mentoring for Lawson Application Development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain and enhance client's application, to include design, coding, testing, and documenting the work, while adhering to the established standards, policies, and procedures of the team and the company.
- Develop and estimate solutions using defined user requirements, working with the customer to clarify and further define requirements as needed.
- Work with and mentor other team members in the listed technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (MQS)

- At least five years of experience building client-side web applications.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery.
- Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks and AJAX.
- Experience supporting a production application.
- Experience mentoring other developers in technical topics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Ability to complete tasks or project assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to estimate development effort based on documented business requirements.
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and tradeoffs.
- Ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
- Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with Infor Lawson.
- Experience working with Unix.
- Experience working WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience with Unified Process (UP) or agile software development methodologies
