We have an urgent requirement for a highly experienced and skilled LANDESK Service Desk Developer/Administrator. The contract is for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of being extended to 6 months.

The successful candidate will use their experience of other LANDESK implementations to proactively recommend improvements which have been overlooked and ensure updates to the system are tested appropriately. By and large the design requirements and lists of defects to be resolved will be provided.

- LANDesk Certification desirable (LANDesk Service Desk Certified LANDesk Engineer, LANDesk Service Desk Process Designer, LANDesk Process Manager)
- Documentation writing
- Good system testing practices
- Crystal Reports server
- Good communication skills
- HTML and web design experience is a plus

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/ACTIVITIES

- Regular system development and maintenance, including:
- Data imports (sources, schedules, filtering)
- Data connections (creating mappings where required, etc.)
- Maintaining system calculations
- Amending process designs as per request of process owners
- Window design changes
- Building/amending Service Catalogue items
- Use of Test to Live release tools
- Building/maintaining queries,
- Bug fixing and defect management
- Dashboard design
- HTML coding
- Development of Crystal Reports, Dashboards and queries.
- Liaise with LANDESK Cloud Care team on the resolution of cases logged
- Assist internal resource with day to day support
- Upskill internal LANDESK Administrator resources and create associated documentation

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND AWARENESS

- LANDESK Service Desk, LANDesk Process Manager, Microsoft SQL, Crystal Reports
