Land Equipment Form 10 Manager/Publications Coordinator

Background

Our central government client is currently recruiting for a Land Equipment Form 10 Manager to join them on a contract basis. This position will be based in Bristol with some travel required and will run until August 2014. The form 10 is the method whereby any error and/or omissions found in an army equipment support publication by the user can be brought to the attention of the publication sponsor for amendment action and/or explanation. Please note that due to the urgent nature of this role a preference is being give to candidates that hold valid SC clearance.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
1. Processing form 10's ie receiving, logging, forwarding to relevant desk officers within project teams, hastening (where necessary), and providing responses to the originator.
2. Liaising as necessary with various originators and project teams to reach conclusion to form 10's
3. Liaising closely with various departments and teams to ensure all form 10's are appropriately processed and closed out
4. Evaluating the current form 10 process and facilitating changes to the process where necessary
5. Liaising with all stakeholders as necessary to undertake responsibilities
6. Collating and presenting form 10 data on request
7. Maintaining the throughput of form 10s and associated responses within an acceptable timeframe
8. Providing responses to "form 10" processing enquires from project teams and other associated stakeholders
9. Efficiently and effectively taking engineering messages when necessary and passing on to the relevant desk officer within the principal engineers team
10. Undertake simple non form 10 tasks associated with the accessing of dr/tdol (publications data base/access portal.

Formal Qualifications Required
None - this role would suit a candidate from a military or Engineering background
