* Liaising with the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub M.A.S.H Team daily
* DBS risk assessments
* Chairing LADO Strategy Meetings
* Chairing Management Evaluation Meetings
* Providing verbal advise over the phone daily
* Providing written advise daily
* Working closely with Ofsted Inspectors& Compliance Officers
* Providing written and verbal advise to a variety of Managers , managers within Children Services, registered managers of children homes, managers of private nurseries.
* Prioviding daily advise to professionals eg: head teachers, Senco, Chair of Governors, Ministry of Defence, Nursing professionals, as well as memebers of the public.
* Ensuring that professionals adhere to the Safer Working Practice, including providing guidance to voluntary agencies
* Ensuring the necessary referrals are made to the relevang agencies.
* Making a professional decision as to whether a case meets the LADO criteria for intervention or whether the matter is dealt with as consultation.
* Working closely with the Local Authority compliants team, where there are issues pertaining to a Person in a Position of Trust
* Liaising appropriately with the Interim Director of the Local Authority, ensuring that they are made aware , through the "need to know" avenue when a matter may be brought to the media attention.
* Liaising with the media team, ensuring they are aware of matters that will be brought to the media.
* Providing support to professionals who are making a referral to LADo for the first time.
