LAC/ADOPTION- £27-£30- Qualified Social Worker

My client, a local authority in South East England is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Looked After Children/Adoption team. This is an initial 3 month contract and comes with an attractive rate of £26-£30per hour.

Within this team you will need to promote the welfare of children, liaise with parents/carers to ensure children are safe. You will have experience of working, in partnership with parents, extended families and those representing them; assessment and report writing. You MUST have solid experience in the Adoption or LAC team, case Management and you must have experience of court proceedings.

You will need to be committed to working within an ever-changing environment ensuring that service users are safeguarded. Essential requirements for this role include being registered with the HCPC, having a qualification in Social Work and at least two years post-qualified experience; driving licence and vehicle are also required.
