LABWARE APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will act as an Application Specialist supporting client's Quality laboratory application portfolio.
- The applications included in this portfolio are: 1) LabWare LIMS implementations, and 2) custom Java applications.
- Work with the Developer Lead and have responsibilities for the development of enhancement deliverables across the application portfolio.
- Engage in team developing discussion to ensure an understanding of the business deliverable of the features being developed
- Participate in scope definition, timeline development, and testing meeting sessions
- Partner with IT resources (Developer Lead, DBA, Tech Lead, Tester) to complete outlined enhancement deliverables.
- Review documentation for consistency and correctness
- Manage a workload with changing priorities and demands
- Application development and configuration of current LabWare LIMS implementation
- Developing optimal system and/or process solutions while ensuring compatibility with the global design
- Documentation of processes, system configuration and functionality
- Assist in prototyping solutions/designs and receiving business

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in developing in any of the following languages: Java, C#, C++, VB/VBA language, Small talk (LabWare LIMS), LIMS Basic (LabWare LIMS)
- Minimum of three (3) years successful application development experience using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities
- Business process knowledge of Quality Management, Lab Operations, Lab Information Management Systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills from both business and technical perspectives
- Self starter, motivated and strong team player.
- Excellent teaming skills and strong work ethic is an absolute must

- Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, Oracle
- Experience with Crystal Report development and use and other reporting tools such as Business Objects
- Other vendor based LIMS application configuration
