Labview Engineer

Electronic Project Engineer - Permanent, Gloucestershire -£30,000 - 35,000 pa (DOE)

My Gloucestershire based client has a requirement for a skilled electronic project engineer to join their growing team of engineers. My client is a design and manufacturing consultancy that provide support to their key customers to deliver test equipment, control systems and automation solutions.

As a crucial member of the multifunctional team you will be involved in providing solutions for bespoke high quality products through the entire product life cycle.

Ideally you will have the following skills and qualifications:

- Electronic/electrical design experience
- Effective, professional communication with both customers and colleagues
- Managing engineering projects from initial customer contact to delivery and commissioning
- Attention to detail
- Have excellent time management
- Excellent team player.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial:

- Design of Special to Type Test Equipment
- Test software programming skills - labview, VB C (PICs, LabView, VB, C etc)
- CAD draughting skills - autocad
- Experience of developing test, control or automation solutions
- Experience in aerospace, defence, oil & gas, rail or other safety critical sectors
