IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Performing studies using electrophysiological techniques (fluorescence based/automated patch-clamping)
-Maintaining ion channel expressing cell lines (HEK293 and CHO)
-Provide formatted cells for automated patch-clamp and fluorescence based assays
-Development of stably transfected ion channel expressing cell lines
-Validation of new cell lines
-Optimization of new cell lines for automated plate-based electrophysiology assays
-Performing studies using electrophysiological techniques (fluorescence based/automated patch-clamping)

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Fluency in English

in both oral and written form -Education as lab technician or BSc/MSc in Biology/Physiology/Pharmacology or a relevant life sciences background
-Strong background and experience in cell culture and compound preparation
-Used to accurate work and documentation, if possible according to quality standards (e.g. GLP)
-knowledge of and experience in automated electrophysiology (patch-clamping/ion channels) and molecular biology (cloning/gene expression) is of advantage
