Laboratory Technician Job

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Printed circuit board fabrication

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Capable of operating wet process and photolithography equipment.
- Capable of set-up and calibrating test equipment for the testing of product performance.
- Duties require self-scheduling time to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Run designed experiments using six sigma principles.
- Record results in notebook, spreadsheets and presentations, discuss observations with team.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Follow all safety practices quality procedures and equipment SOP's., maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required and receive training on all equipment before use.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS Degree in a scientific field, ie Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Demonstrated capability to follow safe working practices and quality procedures.
- Good time management and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated drive and initiative, flexibility and strong attention to detail.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working in an industrial laboratory setting preferred.
- Experience in electronics, printed circuit board fabrication is a plus.
