Job Role:
- Planning and scheduling of new products and components for testing within the test lab.
- To develop bespoke test rigs and fixtures for testing prototype and engineering build products.
- To communicate testing feedback to relevant engineers, record and file all test data, write technical test reports, maintain engineering report database.

Main Responsibilities:
- To manage the daily workload of the life test laboratory.
- Validation testing of prototypes, engineering builds, pre-production & production products
- Writing Test Reports, assisting in the development of Test Methods & DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) studies.
- Manufacture & maintenance of test rigs and fixtures.
- Reviewing the testing requirements with Design Engineers and where necessary develop test rigs and fixtures for testing
- Testing of products and prototypes as required by R&D Engineers and Quality Engineers.
- Writing Technical test reports, presenting product and prototype verification test results in accordance with the issued test request requirement.
- Analysing product and prototypes to determine failure modes.
- Logging all test reports using the engineering database system.
- Assisting in the installation of new equipment.
- Maintaining all existing current test rigs.
- Setting and decommissioning of products onto test rigs.
- Manufacturing of components, jigs and fixtures for testing and assembly of parts, assemblies or appliances.
- Inspecting and maintaining components, jigs and fixtures used for testing and assembly of parts, assemblies or appliances.
- Ordering materials or components needed for manufacture & maintenance of test rigs and fixtures.

Qualifications & Experience:
Applicable HNC (Higher National Certificate) or HND (Higher National Diploma) in Chemistry
Would look at a grad that has a year's experience
