- Cloning and screening of expression constructs
- Expression troubleshooting of enzymes in multiple hosts
- Summarizes, analyzes and interprets moderately complex analytical data
- Coordinates technical activities
- Achieves successful production of deliverables with efficiency and adherence to time constraints.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related fields with 2-5 years' experience
- Experience with protein expression and production in bacterial, yeast or fungal systems
- Experience with aseptic techniques, growth and manipulation of bacteria and yeast
- Experience with DNA and Protein (SDS-PAGE) gel electrophoresis and analysis
- Experience with enzyme assay, protein purification and liquid handling a plus
- Ability to work in a multi disciplinary and fast-paced environment, both independently and in a team setting
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly self-motivated and enjoy working in a team oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with standard laboratory equipment and procedures
