Laboratory Technician

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, PLASTICS/ENTRY LEVEL - AKRON, OHIO - JOB #4819

SALARY RANGE: $15 per hour/Permanent Position with Benefits.

A local area raw materials manufacturer is seeking an entry level laboratory technician to perform quality control physical testing on their night shift. This is an ideal candidate for this role will be an individual who has completed undergraduate studies in chemistry, biology, or another lab intensive science.

The primary focus of this position will be quality control testing of night shift production. This shift runs Sunday through Thursday nights from 10PM to 6AM.

REQUIREMENTS

- Undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline (candidates with a associates degree will be considered)
- Training or some hands-on experience with lab testing protocols, documentation, etc.
- Good, general computer skills
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, etc.
- Ability to commit to night shift hours as described

CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND A 10 PANEL DRUG SCREEN.
