Laboratory Technician

For one of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry, we are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician

End: 31/12/13
Location: South of Brussels

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Laboratory technician for the QC Biochemistry department.
For supporting release teams facing high workload related to method validation life cycle (working directly on validation activities orindirectly by supporting other activities).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Performs QC testing for release of vaccines
* Performs testing for method validation
* Performs data verification (double check)
* Works in strict compliance with GMP
* Participates in the management of laboratory activities (reagents management, equipment follow-up, )

PREREQUISITES:

Education

* Laboratory technicians with scientific degree in Biochemistry,Biology, clinical analysis,

Knowledge

* Ability to work in a complex environment
* Team spirit
* Autonomous
* Hands-on mentality
* Good communication skills

Experience

* Experience in pharma & GMP is an asset.
* Experience in ELISA and gel electrophoresis is an asset and in other biochemical techniques such as MSD-HPLC, rate nephelometry is highly recommended.

TRAINING PERIOD

3 months training is anticipated for these positions
