Sets up, operates and maintains laboratory instruments, monitors experiments, makes observations, calculates and records results, and often develops conclusions. Individual is familiar with basic scientific principles and has had some laboratory experience, preferably with a consumer goods company. Can follow written direction and maintain a laboratory notebook. Has good communication skills and is computer literate.
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Science (Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering as preferred majors), with some previous lab experience in the consumer goods industry (internship or work experience preferred). A background in consumer products, gum, stability & shelf life is preferred. Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office- Excel skills & working with others.
