Laboratory Technician

We have a client in the Woburn MA area who is looking to add a Senior Level Laboratory Technician to their staff. Work with exciting technology in the cryogenic industry and become a part of an exciting team. Ideal candidates will have a BS degree in related discipline, 5 years experience with cryogenics, and be extremely comfortable and skilled with LABVIEW.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- independently trouble-shooting difficult system problems to isolate root causes
- working closely with Design and Sales in understanding product requirements and successfully build and test to the requirements
- providing training on all standard company products, processes and techniques used in manufacturing including the custom products
- Using LabVIEW software code, design and develop software for automation of gas handling systems for dilution refrigerators and Helium-3 systems.

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong background in using LabVIEW to automate cryogenic systems required.
- Minimum Requirements include Bachelors degree in physics, mechanics, electrical technology or related science field or foreign degree equivalent
