Laboratory Equipment Manager Job

LABORATORY EQUIPMENT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CAMBRIDGE, MA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Receive, track, maintain and review equipment and associated profiles within the Diagnostics Development asset management system
- Manage Quality systems documentation related to equipment LCM
- Schedule and monitor the activities of outside service providers as needed
- Perform minor equipment maintenance activities as scheduled (eg defrost freezers)
- Ensure compliance to all safety procedures for all areas of the Diagnostics Development team
- Oversee associate compliance to the requirements of the Quality Management System
- Create purchase orders for services and materials to support laboratory activities
- May require handling of human and non-human derived samples

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- AA/AS in a Laboratory Science or commensurate work experience
- Experience with Laboratory Quality Systems/Quality documentation management mandatory
- Experience with purchasing and invoicing systems required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Experience in GLP/GMP and/or CLIA/CAP environment

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Environmental Control Systems preferred
- Experience in hands on calibration or equipment repair desirable
- Experience with cell culture, RNA/DNA extraction techniques, or other basic laboratory procedure desirable
