Laboratory Analyst Job

LABORATORY ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Aiken, SC.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Chemistry
- cGMP
- HPLC

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Bulk finished product and raw material sampling and testing to insure compliance with specified standards.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and independent decision-making skills.
- Assisting with test method modifications, optimizations, validations, and transfers.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation as required.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory QMS and CAP
- Write and revise SOPs.
- Train other associates and assist with the Quality Department's certification program.
- Attention to detail and documentation.
- Working knowledge of Operational Excellence principles.
- Demonstrate skills in the use of applicable systems (eg Word, Excel, LIMS, CDS, Microsoft Outlook and Prism).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Knowledge of Laboratory OOS procedures.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, or related science
- Two (2 +) years of experience
- Knowledge of cGMP
- Knowledge of pharmacopoeia requirements (ie USP, Ph.Eur. and BP) for raw materials and solid dosage product.
- Strong technical background in HPLC, GC, AA and dissolution testing including maintenance and troubleshooting.
