Lab Test Specialist CE/IoT Device Security

Are you a hands-on security test engineer with experience and a strong interest in testing CE and IoT devices deploying debuggers, disassemblers, de-obfuscators, packet sniffers, test tool development, and reverse and penetration engineering?
You could be a significant contributor at a very-well established and highly successful R&D software group developing security fraud protection measures for applications running in Windows, consumer electronic and IoT devices. Examples include, mobile telephones, fitness/personal-health smart-wear devices, cameras, Smart-TV.
You will have the support of a highly experienced team and encouraged and rewarded for progressive and independent thinking.
Working in a cutting edge security lab your responsibilities will include the evaluation of security measures in various CE and IoT products by hacking, attacking and reverse engineering the existing protection, developing test tools and executing security tests on these features.
Furthermore, your efforts will include contributions to the documentation of knowledge about existing hacks and potential vulnerabilities in specific targets and the development of new security verification tools.
THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT AND FOR GOOD PERFORMERS FURTHER 12 MONTH ASSIGNMENTS ARE VERY LIKELY TO BE OFFERED.
€70 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF REQUESTED SKILLS.
YOU WILL NEED excellent analytical skills, ability to read and debug in C and Assembler, some experience of reverse engineering and penetration tools is required: eg static and dynamic binary analysis, binary injection, packet sniffers.
IDEALLY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Anti-tamper tools and techniques
- Hardware/software attack vectors
- Malware analysis
- Cryptography (RSA, SHA-1, AES,)
- Android development
- Networking protocols
At least 2 years relevant (post academia) commercial experience
EU citizen
