Projektbeschreibung
- Perform chemical testing on the samples of paint produced.
- Use formulas to prepare and mix samples of waterborne and solvent borne automotive paints.
- Prepare and spray panels with Primer, Base, Clear Coats paint samples Flash and bake panels in ovens.
- Record all results in database and create spreadsheets.
- Conduct inventory on raw materials.
- Perform physical and appearance testing on panels, such as: Water Soak, QCT, gas immersion, Adhesion Testing Tukon, Gravelometer Testing, High Performance Chipping, and so forth as defines in customer specifications.
SKILLS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Ideal candidate will have some prior lab experience (industry or university lab).
- A BS or BA Degree in a science is a plus (chemistry and biology preferred).
- Organized, neat record keeping, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Paint Lab and Paint Testing Experience is a plus.
- Experience with Automotive OEM material specifications is a plus.
