Lab Technician Job

LAB TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in LA PORTE, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation including: GC, GC-MS, and FTIR
- Experience in research and analysis
- Knowledge in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Conduct research projects on improving properties polyvinyl alcohol.
- Evaluate inhibitor performance for the vinyl acetate monomer.
- Make statistical calculations, analyze data and prepare reports summarizing results.
- Prepare standards and conduct research utilizing the following analytical instrumentation - GC, FTIR, NIR, ICP, UV, pH, aqua meter and colorimeter.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in science field
- At least 2 years of research experience

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity the following analytical instrumentation - GC, FTIR, NIR, ICP, UV, pH, aqua meter and colorimeter.
