Lab Technician - Chemist Job

CHEMIST/LAB TECH needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Vonore, TN.

The Big Picture:
With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research. Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

What You'll Be Doing:
- The primary responsibilities of this individual will be to provide analytical support to the program, in order to characterize streams coming out of the various unit operations.
- This individual will be responsible for carrying out existing analytical methods.
- Maintaining analytical equipment (including HPLC, GC, IC, Densitometers and automatic titrators) and performing calibrations will also be required.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Immunology or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of PHARMA/BIOTECH INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
- Strong working knowledge of GMP regulations.
- This position requires rotating shift work - 3 days on/3 days off, 12-hour rotating AM/PM schedule. Hours would be 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
