Lab Technician wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Laboratory technician training or equivalent, or diploma with specialization in analytical chemistry
- Expertise in protein analytics and characterization and preferably 1-2 years of experience in instrumental analytics (eg chromatography, electrophoresis, spectroscopy)
- Ability to interpret results and scientific information in a critical and objective manner
- Excellent organizational and team skills along with good knowledge of MS Office software
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Using modern physico-chemical test methods such as HPLC, CE, peptide mapping, cIEF and spectroscopy to support the biopharmaceutical protein development projects
- Developing analytical test methods and performing analytical characterization programs for materials intended for pre-clinical and clinical use
- Planning and performing the analyses and evaluating and documenting the results
- Qualifying analytical methods according standard operating procedures
