Lab Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a LAB TECHNICIAN to join our client in Roswell, GA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Read, understand, and follow applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of employees
- Follows all Safety, Environmental, and Quality related policies and helps to promote a positive and ethical work environment
- Analyzes product samples
- Documents analytical results and lab activities
- Reviews analytical data for completion and accuracy, alerts manager with observation of outliers
- Professionally and concisely communicates information regarding lab activities and analytical data
- Enters analytical data into Lab Information Management System
- Assists with daily housekeeping duties
- Performs basic instrument maintenance and repair

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma is desired
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills (especially: MS Excel - for data entry)
- Movement to and from lab workstations
- Sit or stand for long periods of time
- Repetitive testing motion
- Have knowledge of routine laboratory equipment and procedures (microscope, tensile testing, calipers, scales, vision systems, etc.)
