Lab Tech - Chemist Job

LAB TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PARKERSBURG, WV.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
- Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Safely following strictly all safety procedures and rules.
- Computer skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite (especially excel).
- Experience with wet/synthetic chemistry a plus.
- Duties will primarily include running and maintaining the 2-liter lab reactor, working up the produced flake, submitting samples as required to the Control Lab for analysis, and summarizing the results.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- B.S. or B.A. Degree in Physical Science is required.
- At least four (4) years of full time lab experience
