Lab Systems Technical Analyst - Major Blue Chip - Antwerp Region

Skills:

- Candidate must have past experience in dealing with a laboratory environment and systems
- Candidate must have past experience in working with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) applications.
- Knowledge on the Accelrys (Symyx) Electronic Laboratory Notebook is a plus.

Role:

- Act as a team member in a project to rollout an electronic laboratory notebook system to multiple groups of scientists
- Help translate current manual and paper based lab business processes to an electronic system
- Gather group business requirements and execute a pre-set of activities needed bring the new group onboard the application
- Train users on the system and answer technical questions about the solution
- Participate in virtual and in-person meetings with the global project team (US and Belgium)
- Report back status and progress to the project team
- Escalate issues and problems to the main project team
- Candidate must be able to work on-site multiple days a week as agreed with the project manager
- Manages the status and steps to rollout multiple business areas to the electronic system.
- Ensures completeness, accuracy and consistency of the data so that it meets the designed specifications
- Interprets changes in source systems and effect on data transfer
- Manages assigned project timelines/prioritizes tasks
- Collaborates with and communicates to multidisciplinary teams
- Logs complaints and inquiries in designated tools
- Reviews and suggests adaptations to departmental SOP's to adhere to an electronic process.
- Performs ad-hoc application configuration and support in case of business critical changes needed
