Lab Support Technician I Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a LAB SUPPORT TECHNICIAN I to join our client in West Greenwich, RI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Central Services group supports the PD laboratory facility and utility areas.
- This group is essential for maintaining a high level of productivity for the laboratories and helping the PD success rate.
- Support ARI PD activities through central service functions that are critical to the success of commercial manufacturing support, and technology transfer of new molecules to ARI.
- Technical support will include the following activities: Cell Culture bioreactor and vessel dis-assembly and re-assembly, washing and sterilization of reactors, equipment maintenance and calibration of the analytical equipment, CEDEX, YSI, BGA and NOVA systems.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work in a strong team environment.
- This position is for the day shift of Friday through Tuesday.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) or more years industry experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to lift 25lbs and spend 80% of lab time standing or walking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Self-initiative/Self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision.
