Lab Head Bioanalytics

Lab Head of Bioanalytics wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- PhD with postdoctoral experience in life sciences and in addition a strong background in cell biology or biochemistry
- Confidence in development of cell-based assays and immunoassays, preferentially in an industrial setting
- Thorough comprehension and professionalism of working under GxP regulations
- Exceptional communication, team and leadership skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be an asset

YOUR TASKS:

- Leading a laboratory with 2+ associates within Biologics Technical Development and Manufacturing
- Designing, developing, validating and executing various bioanalytical assays to assess the biological activity and purity of biopharmaceuticals in clinical development
- Supporting manufacturing process development under GMP regulations
- Collaborating with several project teams and contributing to the preparation of clinical trial applications and registration documents
