Lab Engineering Technician

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN will be responsible for daily equipment sustaining activities to maintain the lab for a leading computer components manufacturer. Candidate will be the first line of defense for test equipment and test platform (for Phone and Tablet) issues. In addition, s/he will be packing and sending the system to different client locations and keeping track of the lab inventory.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Position requires a diploma or associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent
- 3+ years of work experience in supporting test equipment and lab maintenance
- Understanding of smartphone and tablet electronic schematics and ability to troubleshoot the corresponding circuit(s)
- Proficiency using standard measurement equipment's and basic knowledge in motherboard setup and debugging
- Ability to take power and voltage measurements of smartphone, tablet and reference platform
- Ability to use oscilloscope, logic analyzer
- Ability to Flash firmware using phone Flash tool

NICE TO HAVE:

- Knowledge of the PCB design and simulation tools
- Test methodologies
