Hadoop ecosystem support wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector. Your experience/skills: Proven experience in implementing solutions to process large amounts of data in a Hadoop ecosystem utilising Apache Spark Expertise in a similar position, preferably in an international financial environment Strong practical know how in Hadoop ecosystem and solid knowledge of HBase, Oozie, Sqoop, Hive, Impala as well as Solr Excellent knowledge of HDFS along with Parquet skills Languages: fluent English both written and spoken Your tasks: Interacting with architecture team to refine requirements Cooperating project team to implement solutions on the existing Hadoop platform Assisting the platform to ensure dependent components are provisioned Cooperating with project team to implement the platform Start: ASAP Duration: 12MM+ Location: Zurich, Switzerland Ref.Nr.: BH11480 Does this sound like an interesting and challenging opportunity to you?
