Juniper Network Support

My client an internationally recongnised business requires two Juniper Network Support Specialist to provides remote technical support assistance to customers and internal technical personnel on a number of products and subsystems. You will have strong networking skills and also possess some application support experience.

The suitable applicant will ensure the problem incidents complete and correct by using specialized technical knowledge, together with support tools, techniques, and procedures, to identify and evaluate possible problem cause and solution alternatives, and to determine most likely cause(s) and solution(s).

Required skills;

- Solid experience with Juniper Network technologies
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of applicable products, sub-systems, and/or systems and their attachments, including network connectivity.
- Must possess a strong operational knowledge of applicable operating systems, application programs, system diagnostics and local/remote support structure.
- The position requires an in-depth understanding of the relationships between microcode, operating system and application programs.
- An in-depth knowledge of system configuration options and network connectivity is also required. The position requires a comprehensive knowledge of electronics, excellent mechanical skills, and knowledge regarding effective use of support-level tools and test equipment.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills are a significant position requirement, as is the ability to provide information and direction to others in a clear and concise manner. The individual should also possess unmistakable leadership skills.
- Has an in-depth understanding of and is able to fully articulate the companies service delivery and technical support methodology.
