JUNIOR WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with our client located in NEW YORK, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Candidate will be expected to learn to write engaging copy under tight deadlines in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Stories would be short pieces on breaking news or topics trending on social media.
- Candidates will take assignments from editors and eventually pitch story ideas.
- Candidates will also learn to use WordPress content management software and build content that is optimized for search and social engagement.
- Interest in topics of business, economics and technology are preferred, though not essential.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidates will be part of a joint news desk, an exciting and important new venture driving online traffic and engagement for all three brands.
- Candidates will get a crash course in how to package and promote content for success online.
