Junior Window Admin

2 MONTH CONTRACT- IMMEDIATE START - North Sydney

A Leading financial institution requires a Junior Windows Administrators/Support Engineer to provide server support and administration to a large number of Windows Servers. The successful candidate will part of an exciting new infrastructure projects. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a strong technical understanding of Windows Server 2003/2008.

DUTIES:

- Ghosting, post-ghosting laptops, desktops.
- Assisting with physical installations of Servers and desktops as needed.
- Assisting with physical install of window Servers and network devices as part of a team working along side senior technicians
- Level 2 Desktop support
- Asset management-update record creations and follow up.

Physical audit of hardware (counts and checking).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2000/2003/2008
- Demonstrated experience with Active Directory and Exchange
- Understanding of Change Management
- Asset management documentation/record keeping updates.
