Your role will be to design and develop creative web solutions to support Xerox products, technology, services and customers. You will need to work with global teams on the design, development and implementation of sophisticated, cross-platform, multi-lingual web applications and bespoke digital solutions to ensure that Xerox stays at the forefront of technology

- Front-end design, Front End and Back End application development: creating responsive webpages using HTML, CSS,JavaScript, dot.NET and XML
- Creating webpage wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes and s upporting project teams with User Experience Design
- Designing and creating online banners and web graphics using Photoshop/Illustrator
- Developing site maps, layouts, structure and navigation
- Publishing multi-lingual content for the Xerox website using content management systems
- Design, develop and implement e-mail marketing campaigns and digital communications for Xerox and Xerox social media channels
- Ongoing development and maintenance of existing applications

Scope:

- Managing your own projects and making informed decisions
- Communicating with customers to gather requirements and feedback
- Working with other teams to support the design and development process
- Working with external agencies and stakeholders on implementing digital marketing campaigns via a number of channels- from implementing web and e-mail campaigns.

Main Responsibilities:

The CMS digital group is responsible for providing state of the art web and multimedia applications that support Xerox products and services, the Xerox US and European websites, and a wide range of Xerox customers. This includes supporting the architecture and maintenance of solutions that form part of a bigger client offering where the web is used to help enable other revenue generating services. We are also a service delivery unit within Europe that provides specialist subject matter expertise and solutions for Xerox clients requiring online and web consultancy.

- Development of solutions end to end, from the initial design phase through to final delivery and maintenance
- The role includes the development of interactive, multimedia and Internet solutions to support Xerox technology, services and customers. An important part of the role is providing specialised subject matter expertise on a variety of digital solutions, as well as working face-to-face with an extensive network of clients and suppliers to capture and deliver requirements.
- Supporting the team on technical/digital/innovation aspects of proposals and bids
- Providing point of reference for other developers within the team
- Provide application designs for scalable, localisable applications that satisfy customer requirements.
- Analyse customer requirements.
- Design and document Object Oriented solution architectures using industry recognised best practices (UML, Use Cases, Design Patterns etc.).
- Provide consultancy services to the customer throughout the design process.
- Design and Implement localisable, relational databases that complement customer requirements.
- Analyse Data modelling requirements.
- Create normalised entity relationships diagram taking into account any design constraints.
- Populate, administrate, optimise and maintain database.
- Program scalable, robust, modular, and maintainable solutions on time and within budget.
- Integrate new applications with Legacy systems.
- Provide interfaces for use by service oriented applications.
- Produce cost saving solutions and services
- Provide maintenance of existing applications and content as required.
- Keep central register of maintenance requirements and processes.
- Manage and maintain application and web servers
- Publish content to the Xerox platform
- Flow translated text into applications or databases.
- Investigate, report and propose on new technologies, develop test and live applications, and deliver them to mainstream operations in order to satisfy service delivery.
- Grow the range of services that the Multimedia & Internet Solutions group can offer.
- Contribute to revenue growth for GKLS.
- Provide implementation of Quality testing processes in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and quality of service provision by:
- Implementing agreed Web Services Quality Control processes.
- Peer reviews and feedback.
- Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing- Provides continuous feedback to stakeholders as input for improvements. Shares knowledge with colleagues to make a useful contribution to Xerox knowledge. Updates and improves standard service digital development methodologies based on learning and customer requirements/feedback. Promotes knowledge sharing with other stakeholders

Qualification

Education Requirements:

- Educated to a university degree level in Web Design, Web Development, Multimedia, Graphics Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or similar subject.
