Junior Web Designer (P-T)

Our client, the UKs leading entertainment brand are looking for a Junior Web Designer to work on a Comparison website for betting.

As a Junior Designer with bucket loads of potential you should be a highly creative bright spark that ad value to the business as well a developing into the role. We must be able to see your potential, your online portfolio will need to demonstrate strong digital design skills, but most importantly it will give glimpses of your future brilliance.

Collaborating internally with the creative team you will be responsible for designing a variety of banners, web pages, social media campaigns, logos and other digital art assets which promote our high profile website with a distanced focus on conversion. Working with the marketing team and Lead Designer you will have a great opportunity to learn and improve your skills while gaining valuable industry experience.

To qualify... You should be a Junior Designer with a CV and portfolio that highlights the following:

* A strong online portfolio
* A good eye for colours, typography, design and composition
* Good working knowledge of Photoshop
* Familiarity with HTML and CSS especially the capabilities of HTML5 and CSS(3)
* Pixel perfect attention to detail
* Knowledge of developing and maintaining website designs for mobile browsers and apps
* Good communication skills
* Copywriting would be beneficial
* A passion in betting and sport

Any exposure to Illustrator, InDesign or Flash is advantageous, as is a passion for the online betting industry.

This is a part-time role for 20 hours per week (flexible on working times) , initially for 13 weeks with the potential to go permanent.
