Junior UPC Configuration Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunication company, for a Junior UPC Configuration Engineer to join their project in the Netherlands.

Position Title: Junior UPC Configuration Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: August 2015
Duration: 6 months
Location: Amsterdam

Responsibilities:
- UPC - Unified Product Catalogue
- Analyzing the needs of instance and assess the tasks' difficulty and workload.
- Giving the configuration of instance to fulfil the client's needs and wants.
- Being capable of using the testing tools to do End to End test to verify the correctness of the configuration of instance.
- Being capable of doing operation in the live networking environment and doing the configuration of instance.
- Analyzing the cause of issues and resolving the issues from the new configuration of instance.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Eager to learn with problem-solving skills
- Understanding the basic rules of programming languages, preferably, capable of programming.
- For junior level with 1-3 years experience: able to exercise his profession with support from Senior engineer or team members.
- SQL skills are a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Language: English (Chinese will be preferred).
