Junior to Mid-Level Java Developer - Secret Clearance Job

JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL JAVA DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seaside, CA.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- One to two (1-2) years of Java Development experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Seeking strategic technical Java Developer to support services for the sustainment and enhancement of data operations including master data management, data modernization and transformation, data governance, data acquisition, and delivery and decision support initiatives that provide key capabilities to stakeholders.
- The support includes identifying and implementing effective approaches and tools to help the Agency address its mission in changing times.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Secret Clearance
- Two (2) years of experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to): JEE, JDK1.7, JSF, MyBatis, Oracle 11g, Struts, XML, REST, Dojo, displaytag, log4j, itextpdf, JUnit, Apache commons, SAS 9.x, IBM Mainframe, Cognos PARS/CCRS, Oracle Records Management (ORM), Oracle WebCenter Content (WCC), jstl, Spring MVC, 7, Oracle Application Server 11G, Apache Tomcat 7, and Oracle Express 11gR2.
- Ability to work with Web- development tools for new applications.
- Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
- Experience on one or more full release project life cycles.
- Strong understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management).
- Basic understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test Scripting, and testing methodologies.
- Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (eg, Eclipse, Visual Studio).
- Strong understanding basic Database Administration. Able to apply consistently quality and security standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Developing general project management/team leader skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
