Junior Test Manager

For our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a

Junior Test Manager - fluent in English and German

Start date: 01 November 2015

Duration: 6-8 months plus extensions possible

Location: Zurich

For this position the ideal candidate can do some hands on testing, supports and coordinates the respective test managers and test teams, monitors and documents the test deliveries.

- Prepares and conducts the 1:1 test management meetings
- Keeps track of the overall Vertical test reporting and delivery of exceptions
- Supports the Program Test Management team with any governance tasks
- Supports the test manager re the 1:1 with the development leads

Supports the IT Program Test Management Team during the Front to Back test phases.

- Defect Management
- Supports business testers in executing their tests

So the needed skill set is:

Proven track record in:

- Working with industry standard tools for testing (HP ALM, JIRA, SharePoint)
- Good skills with MS Office tools
- Testing in the banking industry or similar
- Understanding of ISTQB/ISEB Certificate re Software Tests and Test Management would be a advantage

Familiarity with:

- Test Environment set up preparation
- Output tests

Extras could be:

- A Banking and/or Consultancy background
- Experienced business analyst
- Understanding of banking products, processes and infrastructure
- Good quantitative and analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- University under-graduate degree, preferably in computer science or a numerate discipline
- Analytically focused and process oriented
- Very fluent English and German speaker
