Junior Technical Supporter XML/CSV

For a 5 month project with our exciting IT client in Zurich, we are looking ASAP for a Junior Technical Supporter with XML/CSV experience.

End date: 16.10.2016

The company shows local business information as well as public transit information and Real Time data.
The Tech Partners team adds new data providers using standard feeds in different formats (CSV, XML, protobuffs)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support product launches by explaining feeds and troubleshooting integrations. This includes:

Manage the technical relationship with important business partners to educate them and help them integrate with company systems.
- Work with partners to define the right data mappings, and troubleshoot them using Linux command line tools and large data set analysis
- Provide technical support for the integrations, including any necessary troubleshooting, and technical guidance.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Education. BS in computer science/related technical field.
- Has written code and is comfortable with coding concepts (flow control, conditionals, etc). Ability to identify and fix issues with code snippets.
- Candidates must have work experience in with XML/CSV and a Scripting/programming language (one or more of the following - Python, Java, Perl, bash)
- Troubleshooting. Can reproduce partner identified bugs and work with engineering team to investigate. Can work with an important company partner to troubleshoot a complex technical problem.
- Partnering and Support Background. Ability to collaborate with strategic business partners to implement, deliver and support technical projects.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience working with maps/GIS data preferred but not required
