JOB DESCRIPTION:

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:

- Perform daily, weekly and monthly operational tasks
- Participate in the 2nd line support, Problem Management and on-call standby service
- Debugging and analysing of reported problems and escalated incidents
- Drafting operational guidelines, procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integration, installation and upgrade of aforementioned component services
- Assistance with roll-out of new ICT infrastructure projects
- Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures
- Intervention on ICT infrastructure (Servers, backup devices, virtual machines, etc)
- Performing backup/restore operations on data
- Development of scripts to improve central management and control facilities (central alerting, central logging, central security polices implementation ...).

MANDATORY SKILLS:

- ITILv3 certification(s)
- Ability to write technical notes in English
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Good communication skills
- Quick learning ability is required, being organized, versatile and a results-oriented team player
- Experience in providing support for enterprise environment
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies and environments.
- Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 Server administration
- Expertise in WAMP/LAMP (Linux/Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) application administration
- Symantec & NetApp Backup administration and recovery procedures
- VMware & Hyper-V management and administration
- Shared storage administration (NetApp/IBM/HP)
- TCP/IP protocol and related services in a Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 environment: DNS, DHCP, WINS
- Hardware environment (Server)
- Good Scripting skills (Shell, bash, )
- Good knowledge of PowerShell 2+

MINIMUM 1 TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION:

- MCSA/MCSE: Server Infrastructure
- MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and above
- (Storage) NCSA, NCDA, NCIE
- (Virtualisation) VCA-DCV, VCP4/5-DCV, VCAP4/5-DCA, VCAP4/5-DCD, VCDX4/5-DV, VCA-WM, VCP4/5-DT, VCAP-DTD, VCDX-DT - MCTS, MCITP: Virtualization Administrator (or higher)
- (Linux) RHCSA, RHCE, RHCJD, RHCJA
- Oracle RDBMS database administration
