Junior System Administrator Job

JUNIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Philadelphia, PA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Passionate about systems and infrastructure support; entry level position.
- Ability to manage a variety of issues across multiple systems.
- Quickly and correctly diagnoses problems.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Administering installed technologies, following approved processes and procedures.
- Participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure maintain a consistent uptime.
- Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Administration of cloud environment and virtual Servers.
- Reviewing system and application logs.
- Providing first level support for business, and troubleshooting issues.
- Assisting with ongoing performance tuning, hardware/software/operating system upgrades and resource optimization as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Adapts and learns new procedures readily.
- Familiarity with popular SaaS offerings (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
- Ability to manage a variety of issues across multiple systems.
- Quickly and correctly diagnoses problems.
- Cooperates and works effectively with IT colleagues.
- Produces documentation in a clear, concise manner, adhering to standards.
