Junior Site Engineer

To provide a new insight and energy for a team we are looking for a Junior Site Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Site Engineer leads the build process of telecom installations (Design/engineering, build/rebuild) within the customer specifications and guidelines. The Site Engineer is also the main point of contact for the contractor(s) which will (re)build the telecom installation

Tasks
Coordinate and drive Technical Site Surveys Take the lead during site visits (Acquisition phase) and achieve a technical solution that is in balance with requirements of Radio Planner, Supplier/sub contractor, Landlord, Health and Safety Specifications, Health and Safety guidelines
Continuously update tooling (Site Handler) on the progress for the sites you have under control
Collect and control quality of site visit report, site drawings including execution documents during site building process from subcontractors
Kick off meetings prior to the site construction
Create/verify the materials list (MRF) based upon engineering documentation.
Control material flow in close alignment with logistics department
Collect site documentation for acceptance (eg asbuilt), perform on site acceptance with sub contractor, define remaining actions to do for supplier
Solving problems escalated by Subcontractors
Ensure that the sub-contractors installation staff works according to instructions given by the Manager

Candidate Skills & Requirements
At least Bachelor degree (Construction Engineering, Civil Works technical, preferably telecommunications oriented)
Speaks Dutch fluently and clearly, speaks also good English
Works as a team player but can also work alone very well Is capable to work under pressure to reach challenging targets
Result oriented, responsible, service minded, flexible, taking initiatives
Good coordinating skills
Has some understanding of the Telecom roll out process (preferred)
Has good administrative skills
Problem solving capability and negotiation skills Is capable to work under pressure to reach challenging targets
Is a team player but can be self-supporting
Self-learning and improving, learning from mistakes, next time

Sub-contractor management experience (preferred)
