Junior QA Analyst (Gaming)

My client, a global technology giant and leader in its field, is looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst to work on an expansion to their gaming products within Europe.

Based in Dublin, the contract will run until the end of January.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE QA ROLE INCLUDE:

- Reviewing and prioritising multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- Supporting daily and weekly site releases by reviewing tasks completed by Web Producers looking for any bugs and below-par execution.
- Supporting the overall site vision and ensuring a quality customer experience while focusing on project goals and delivery dates.
- Reviewing the site and looking for issues with products and offers.
- Providing clear communication to stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

- Understanding of web design/web development concepts and processes.
- Experience of Quality Assurance as it relates to online content and products
- Experience of working in a global E-commerce web environment or an operations/data centre.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self-starter and a proactive problem solver with a drive to achieve results.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Degree or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

- A gamer, knowledge of gaming
- Experience working with the localization of content.
- A knowledge of HTML, CSS and web content management systems.
- Fluency in a language other than English would be an advantage.
