Junior Python/Django Developer

For our customer, an established video communication company in Oslo, Norway, we are looking for a junior Front End developers with experience in Python (2.7) and Django framework (1.8) for a short-term assignment.

Ideal candidate must be able to work independently and be able to specify and develop workable solutions in cooperation with other organizations.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred
- Good understanding of Python (2.7)
- Deep knowledge of the Django framework (1.8)
- HTML, CSS knowledge
- Familiarity with building webapps with React (preferred), OR
- Skills in writing clean JavaScript code
- Comfortable with working with a MySQL database, and in a Linux environment, also command line.
- Basic work experience with Git
- Decent amount of documentation of the work
- Experience with Agile project methodology, navigating around, and working in/with a complex codebase
- Implementing a user database, complete with management, token-based authentication, permission based authorization.
- Implementing a webapp (not necessarily single-page) built on APIs

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- BS Degree in an IT based discipline
- Fluency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Duration of the assignment: 3-6 months
